I like to let go of power in my company as much as I can.
The moment I hire someone, I let the power I hold be controlled by them instead. In doing so, I have a better time controlling everything because I don’t have to control anything.
By trusting in not only the capabilities of my hires but also their sense of responsibility, I get to watch everything from behind the scenes and support them with the resources and coaching they need to prosper in their role.
So, while I stand tall in the outside world, I like to stand small inside my own company.
